The idea that a "Mental Mind Luck" can be nice first sparked in director G-Ricky's imagination in late 2025.

He quickly rallied a team of like-minded friends-including co-directors Sammie and NChanTrez-who shared a vision for pushing the boundaries of the shadow arts, cabaret, and interactive theater.

 

While we pay loving homage to the cult classic that birthed the shadowcast tradition, our team aims for more. We are bringing beloved, fan-favorite films to the Las Vegas stages that haven't been shadowcasted locally before or in a long while. But our creative ambition doesn't stop at films; we are expanding into original shadowcast cabaret performances and beyond. By combining iconic scenes with fresh, high-energy variety acts, The Mental Mind Lucks team are opening doors to new possibilities. More than just a show, we are building a platform to highlight the incredible talents of local artists through vibrant preshows and live events.
